Dad and daughter take on Texas

 Dad and I spent a week in Houston Texas. It wasn't a vacation we would have planned, but it is something I wanted to do to make sure we were on the right track. 

In April 2024 dad went for routine blood work. It came back bad and to make story short things escalated very quickly. Dad was diagnosed with advanced and aggressive prostate cancer. My heart was shattered in a million pieces when we got the news, but I quickly put my game face on. Dad is a fighter and I am going to be right by his side every step of the way. We are standing on faith and believing that even though all odds are against him, God is for him. Needless to say even with a lot of appointments, he and I made some time for some fun and memories. 

Tucker's Next Chapter- it was SO hard

 I never dreamed this day would get here so quickly, but it did.... I couldn't be more proud and happy for Tuck, but boy it will go down as one of the hardest things I have ever done. Leaving him was SO hard! He is now all settled in and we can't wait to see all he achieves!
