Well, where to begin... This past weekend did not go as planned or as hoped for. My brother, Jay has been trying to get down here one weekend to repair a crack we have in our ceiling. He called me earlier last week and said he would be here this past weekend. He explained we would need to move all furniture out of the living room, cover all window and doors. We were prepared to live in a mess for a couple of days. We did get the TV hooked up in the dining room and moved our couch in to there but all the other living room furniture was all over the house. He came Friday night to prep his work area. He left, we put Rylee to bed and Tucker decided to lay down with me about 10:00. At about 11:00, I heard a noise and sat straight up in bed to find Tucker sick and I mean SICK. Jeremy and I were up with him most of the night and by the next morning he still could not hold anything down so we set off to the doctor. Thankfully, they gave him a shot, he came home and slept and woke up feeling much better. Tucker had to miss his 2nd basketball game, but was so sick he didn't care. In the meantime, Jay and Dad worked most of the day on our ceiling and actually almost completed it. We stayed at home Sunday so we wouldn't spread any germs at church and all was well. Jay came and finished our ceiling. Mom and Dad came up and helped up clean the entire house, move our furniture back, and simply get things back in order before another busy work week. We would have never got it all done without them. I decided to stay home with the kids Monday and give Tucker 1 more day to recover and get back on his feet. Rylee and I set off to bed about 10:30 Monday night and Jeremy came in the room a little later and picked her up to take her to her bed and lo and behold..... She got sick! All over him! If you know how Jeremy feels about stomach viruses you are thinking right about now that he is about to die. He took it like a trooper, I mean "real" dad! We were both up most of the night, but by morning she was doing quite a bit better. There you have it my weekend and the beginning to a STINKY week!
Thanks again to Jay for repairing our ceiling and to Mom and Dad for all your help cleaning and getting the house back in order. Oh and Debbie for the potato soup Saturday! One more thing I want to always remember was something Rylee asked me, "Mom, when will I get a crack between my boobies." After choking on my drink I replied. "Rylee that will be when you get much older or if your like your Mommy, NEVER!" So here's to a better rest of the week :)

Oh my Emily! Y'all did have a time of a weekend! Iam so glad the kiddos are feeling better. I just spit my coffee all overr myself laughing at what Rylee said. That is classic!
STINKY week is right. There is nothing worse than puke! Poor things, they are so pitiful when they are sick like that. Here's hoping that everyone gets better soon and no one else in your house gets sick! Rylee is a hoot!!
