Here's to July, August, and September

So here is to our July, August, and now September. Tucker has been playing baseball 2 nights a week and on weekends for the last couple of months. He began playing with the Lightning and then Jeremy and I decided it would be in his best interest for him to play with and against some tougher competition so he has now joined "The Smoke"  from Athens/ Meigs. I must say it is not easy driving to Athens or Meigs for practice and then to Cleveland once a week for games, but Tucker is enjoying baseball again and his coaches have been great. In the meantime the last 2 weekends a team from Sweetwater/ Madisonville, "The Naturals" has picked him up for a couple of tournaments. This little team is young, but a very talented bunch of boys. The Naturals actually were the Labor Day Slam Champions. Tucker has had a fun time playing so many games, but has enjoyed getting to know an all new bunch of boys.  I was so impressed by his "Smoke" coach this past Thursday night. He got the boys together after the game and told them how proud he was of them and to make sure they each thanked their parents for taking time and money to bring them to play baseball. He then told them that God had blessed him with 10 boys who love to play ball and he wanted them to pray and thank God for what he had been given. This was such a sweet time.
