Tucker is "double digits"

-->

 Tucker,
            Wow! Where has the time gone? I remember going to the hospital on May 5, 2005 and being so excited to meet my baby boy. Now you are 10 years old and growing into a young man. I am so thankful that God chose me to be “Tucker’s” Dad. You are truly a special young man and I know that God has something special in order for you. He has put you on this earth to be the light unto the world and I pray that you always have the courage to stand for Him. I am so proud that you consider others first before yourself and always want to lift others up. I can’t wait to watch you grow into a true man of God, full of desire to do his work. I hope that your birthday is all that you hoped it would be! You are the best son a man could ever have and my best friend.

Love,
Dad

Tucker,

--> It is really hard for me to fathom that a decade ago you entered in to my life and forever changed it.I remember how scared I was about being a Mom. I wondered how I would know if your hungry, what would I do if you started crying, and the list goes on and on. Well, the first year wasn't any thing like I had expected. You were the best baby and so well behaved and you made it through your first year of life with flying colors! Ten years have now passed and you are still the best son and most well behaved boy I know. I truly count it a blessing that God chose me to be your Mom.
       This past year you played basketball and was very successful. You have worked very hard in the off season on hitting and pitching and you even joined a new baseball team, The Bats! You are the starting pitcher and usually bat 3rd.  You were recently chosen to attend the 4th & 5th grade county wide track meet as a 3rd grader and the top student academically in the 3rd grade class. You have become a leader on and off the field and that sure makes this Mom proud.
      My prayer for you is that you continually to treat others with respect, give 100% in everything you do, and to always let people see Jesus in you! Here's to double digits Tuck!

Love,
Mom
