This Monday, Jeremy and I will celebrate our 7th anniversary. We have had a wonderful 7 years and look forward to many more. We have definitely had some trying times , but we have stood strong in our faith and God seen us through. Thanks Jeremy for being a wonderful husband and a good daddy. I Love You!

Candlelight Breakfast
This morning I made blueberry muffins. We enjoyed them in candlelight. Tucker and Rylee had a fun time. I told Tucker this is so cool he said, "that's not" (pointing to the candle). I just think it is funny how he is beginning to notice that some words have different meanings. Rylee was the last one up from the table. We had a fun morning!
Our computer "guy"
Tucker now enjoys spending a little free time playing the computer. My mom has school with him everyday and then we spend some time in the evenings with him working on his letters. He also enjoys playing Dora's Carnival Game. As you can tell he has a hard time concentrating when Rylee Kate is awake and bothering him. She thought it was so funny the other night grabbing his penguin headphones.
Baking!!!
I know some of you will be surprised, but I am really into baking. I have picked, peeled, cored, and sliced apples until I am sick of it. I have probably froze about 25 quart bags of apples. This summer I was determined I would learn how to make homemade fried apple pies. I am talking from scratch. I did! I don't have pictures, but this past weekend I decided I would teach my self how to make a homemade apple pie. I did take a picture of it and I am very proud of it! I guess I will be busy tomorrow making fried pies for our family Labor Day celebration. Happy Labor Day!

Tucker's Talk
Tonight I went to pick Tucker up at my parent's. He was lifting weights. My dad asked,"Emily have you lost weight?" Before I could even answer Tucker handed me his weight and said,"Here Mommy". How cute is that??? Of course he did not come home with me. I think he would live with Doo and Gramps if I would let him.
I'm Alive
I promise I am alive and have planned on submitting a new blog all weekend. We have just been very busy at the Lorenz house. Our church had it's children's consignment sale. We went swimming and just the every day house work. I had Bible Study on Monday night and our Dinner A Fare party was tonight. I got home and made an apple pie for my grandfathers card day(I usually make a dessert for him and his card buddies every other Wednesday). I PROMISE I will post some pics soon of the kids and most importantly my homemade apple pie.

Beth Moore Bible Study
My mom is teaching a Beth Moore Bible Study at our church. Tonight was our first meeting and it was GREAT! Mom promises it gets better but I cannot imagine that. As most of you know I attend a rather small Baptist church, but I was so happy to have 15 women at our Bible study. I just pray that everyone will continue to come and receive a blessing each week. It was so funny b/c during the video session Beth was talking about how she was happy we were all doing this study and that she can only imagine how busy we are. She said, some people are moms of toddlers, some may in graduate school, some may be teachers. I looked and around and thought to myself I am all three of those. She named more but of course the three that represented me stood out in my mind. Please pray that God will allow things to slow down at my house for the next 10 weeks so I can successfully complete this Bible Study. I will keep you updated on our classes.
Tucker's suggestion
Both of the kids spent the night at my mom and dads house last night. This morning after they woke up and had breakfast my mom said, "kids why don't we get our clothes on and go outside." Tucker turned around and said, "Doo, you know what, I was fixing to suggest that." I just thought that was so cute and quite typical coming from Tucker.

UH OH!
Rylee had her first major fall today. Of course the one day I did not have my phone with me at work. I called at lunch to check on the kids and mom said, "Emily, Rylee fell down your steps today." I immediately asked if she was ok and of course she was fine. Mom could not get a hold of me so she called the Dr. Rob and he just wanted us to watch her for a few hours. Well, mom had me prepared for the worst but she is just a little bruised up. Her forehead and the left side of her face are bruised and marked pretty good. I will try and post pictures soon. Just to let everyone know mom also let Tucker fall down the steps, but he was only 6 months old. Anyway- accidents happen.
