She makes me proud!

I so wish I could upload a video on here and it would save in our yearly memory books, but that isn't possible so a picture will have to do.  Rylee Kate wanted to sing the National Anthem at an LHS basketball game. Jeremy contacted the lady in charge and she chose the date she wanted Rylee to sing and it was the night Loudon played L.C.  There was a huge crowd and she got up there determined as ever and did so well. I am so proud of her bravery! She is a special little girl who I know will continue to use her voice and bless others.

School Dance 2016- I'm not ready for this.....

The kids had a great time at the school dance last Friday night.  From what I hear neither of them danced but they enjoyed some extra time with their friends.

Live at Five at Four

Rylee Kate auditioned for junior anchor for Live at Five at Four and she got chosen! So we arrived at the news station about 3:30 and they treated us like family from that moment on. She was introduced live on the air at around 4:05 and had the privilege of being on for most of the hour. She had the opportunity to meet all the news casts and see how things actually work. She was interviewed, got to help cook, helped with the weather, sang "Tomorrow", and more.  I must say this was an experience Rylee Kate will never forget!

Big #9

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SUN GLASS WEARING, BEACH RUNNING, CHEERLEADING, MERMAID TAIL WEARING, KITE FLYING, DADDY'S GIRL KIND OF DAUGHTER!
Rylee Kate,
Wow! You are one year away from double digits. I am not sure where time has gone and I wish it would slow down. This has been quite a year for you. I've seen you excel and succeed more this year than ever before. Just this year you were nominated for young achiever. This award says a lot about your academic excellence and your success outside the classroom. You auditioned and performed in your first theatre play. You even got the lead role and rocked it! Just this last week you earned the spot to be the junior anchor for Channel 10 Live at Five at Four and once again you rocked it! You amaze me each and every day. You are a special girl who has been blessed with many talents and I can't wait to see you use those to God's glory in the upcoming year. Happy #9 Lou!

A little snow= fun times

We got a little snow a few weeks ago. We enjoyed sledding, snow boarding , and 4 wheeling in the back yard but enjoyed three days off from school more than anything!!! We are still hoping for one BIG snow this Winter...
