A RATS NEST

Last week the kids and I temporarily left home until Jeremy caught up with our new (unwanted) house guest. Yes! A rat! Not a mouse it was a 13inch RAT! By the way we caught and disposed of it, but I was quickly reminded of a rats nest when Rylee got out of the shower tonight. Her brother asked her how she did this and she replied, "I moved my hand around and around in a circle and did it!" I think she was kind of proud!

Grandparents Day 2011

Tucker and Rylee are SO blessed to have such loving and caring grandparents and GREAT- grandparents. We hate Doc was not feeling well and missed this special day.

Baseball is Back!

Fall League Baseball has started and is in full swing. Our newest member of the team is #1 Rylee Kate. She is not the best but learning a lot. She may end up being our little softball player.

Lions, and Tigers and Bears, OH MY!

We knew our season passes to the zoo were expiring in a few days so we got in one more visit to the zoo and afterwards we stopped and had dinner with Uncle Jay! We had a wonderful family day!

It's "HER" Day

Rylee Kate sprang straight up from bed this morning with one big smile on her face. I asked her if she was ready for school and she said, "YES Mommy! I am the leader today." She was SO excited about being the leader.

The leader gets to sit in the rocking chair

The leader must get to cast spells

The leader gets to hold the flag during the pledge

The leader gets to paint with pudding and

most iportantly lick her fingers

All in all Rylee had a great day and thought being the leader was the best thing! She also informed me this morning that a little boy keeps trying to kiss her. She looked at me so serious and said, "Mom, if he tries to kiss me again, I am going to punch him in the nose." I said Ry do what you have to do!
