Carving a Jack O lantern

We decided that since it was such a rainy, yucky night that we would carve our jack o lanterns. So that is just what we did. As you can tell we had a fun time, except the kids didn't like cleaning the guts out of the pumpkins so Mommy did.

Finally... Disney World 2009

This past Fall Break we travelled to Disney World. However, Jeremy and I were smarter this year. We took along a few extra hands. Doo and Grammy both joined us for a week of fun. We really had a BLAST! I could not decide on a few favorite pictures so here is many of my favorites.

Hallelujah Party 2009

Tonight was our annual Hallelujah party at church. Tucker is wearing his costume from last year that he wouldn't wear. This is still not the one we bought for this year. He made a promise that he would wear his new one at the school Halloween Parade Friday. Stay Tuned...

Pumpkin Patch 2009

We usually take an annual trip to the pumpkin patch, however, this year we have just not had time. The Richesin's graciously offered to put out some of their homegrown pumpkins and take the kids on a tractor ride to pick out their pumpkins. So after church today, we decided that today was a beautiful day to do that. The kids had a blast! Thanks Richesin family!!!

On the way to the pumpkins...

"This one is a keeper!"

It was almost as big as him.
I just loved this picture.

A visit that was much too short...

On Friday, the Davenport's stopped in for a visit while passing through Loudon on their way back home to North Carolina. The boys see each other twice a year, but you would think they play together every day. They play so well together. We also got to meeet Owen for the first time and he is adorable!!! Thanks, Marybeth and family for stopping by. I enjoyed talking, but when I get to see you I realize how much I miss you.

One more Birthday Wish!

We would also like to wish Eddie, my father in law a happy birthday. He is such a good dad, father in law and most importantly a Papaw. We enjoyed visiting today and sure hope you enjoy lounging in your pajama pants and eating southwestern egg rolls! Hope you had a goon one!

Happy Birthday to Doc!!

I would like to wish my grandfather, Doc, a VERY Happy Birthday! Doc is celebrating his 88th birthday today and we hope he has a wonderful day! He is the best grandfather and great- grandfather anyone could ask for. He loves his family more than anything and that is what I will always remember about him. I asked my kids what they would always remember about Doc and Tucker said, "Because he always does silly things to me, like tickle me." Rylee Kate said, "He always gives me a quarter at Mark's Diner for candy."
Doc~ Thanks so much for being such a loving and caring grandfather to me. Thanks for being a part of my children's lives. They are so blessed to have you for a great grandfather. We love you so much and look forward to MANY more years with you.

V-O-L-S Go Vols GO!

Jeremy and I decided to get a new camera before we left for Disney World so here are a few pictures that I took of the kids while trying to figure out what in the world to do!

"Touchdown"

I have no idea what they are talking about????

Happy Birthday Doo!!!

Doo and Tucker

Doo and Rylee Kate

Today my mom is celebrating her birthday. I cannot tell her how much Jeremy and I appreciate all she does for us. I am not sure what we would do without her. It is such a blessing to know as I walk out the door to go to work that my children will be watched by such a wonderful woman, and that is their Doo. They love her more than anything and cry on the weekends because she is not there to get them out of bed, to fix them chocolate milk & sunny d, and that they have to eat cereal for breakfast. When I get home from work in the afternoons I hear, "Mom, go back to work!" It makes me sad sometimes, but to know that they have Doo that loves them and takes care of them makes it all worth it. Since we are leaving for our trip this afternoon, we decided it would be hard to celebrate her special day so instead we are planning to celebrate on Sunday with Cinderella!!! Shhh, it is a surprise! We love you Doo and hope you have a wonderful day (watching the kids.)

Mickey Mouse, Here We Come!!!

Tucker and Rylee Kate woke up this morning and with daddy's help we tore down the last link to our Disney World countdown chain. We all said, "Mickey Mouse, Here We Come!" We are so excited about our trip and I will post pictures when I return!
