A Little Fire on a Saturday night (with hotdogs & smores)

A long day in the gym calls for a fire, hotdogs, and smores.

Runner Ups

Rylee Kate played some good basketball this weekend.  She played some sound match up zone, hustled, and even scored 6 points.  Her team finished runner up.

Travel Baseball, Oh How we've missed you...

Travel baseball is in full swing and it has definitely been a rocky start, but thee boys are learning how to work through adversity, playing as a team, and never quitting.  Tuck has been struggling at the plate but did better this weekend. He usually is very sound defensively, but had a pretty rough game this past weekend as well. I must say the last two weekends, he has pitched the ball really well.  It is a long summer and we are excited to see how much he and Diamond USA improves.

More SJHS baseball

Tucker has had a fun first year playing for SJHS.  He started 2nd base and has done quite well.  We are very proud of his accomplishments in sports this year as a Wildcat.

BFF

A GOOD FRIEND knows all your stories. A BEST FRIEND has lived them with you.

I have often said I am the type of person who doesn't have to have friends, but there is no way I could make it without this one.  She is the definition of a BEST friend.

Jack of all Trades

My girl headed to her final Clover Bowl Competition representing Steekee Elementary.  They were named 5th grade Champs for two years in a row. Way to go, RK!

Easter Weekend

We enjoyed a day at home on Good Friday just being lazy, doing laundry, and picking up around the house.  Saturday was the first of many... days at the ballpark.  Tuck began his travel ball season in Knoxville this weekend in a one day tournament. He went 1-1 losing the last game in extra innings.  We spent the evening coloring eggs (egg toss) and preparing for Resurrection Sunday. On Sunday we enjoyed church together, went and spent time with the family eating lunch, egg hunting and our annual egg fight.  We ended our night piled up on the couch watching The Shack.  I failed to get a family picture in our dress clothes but oh well.
