Rylee's 6th Birthday

Rylee,
As I woke up this morning reminiscing about the uncertainty I was fixing to face 6 years ago today. I was quickly reminded of just how faithful our God is. You see what could have been tragic for our family the morning of January 17th, 2007, turned out to be nothing less than a miracle and an answer to MANY prayers.
Rylee, you are the daughter I've always prayed for. You are kind(when you wan to be), helpful, energetic, head strong, spoiled rotten, and full of life. You are always willing to help others in need and are thriving in kindergarten. You have become quite the little reader and love to write. You made friends(even if they are all boys) very easy at your new school and that makes for one happy Mommy.  You enjoy many girlie things like Barbie Dolls, cheer leading, and make-up but don't think twice about dressing up in camouflage for a day in the tree stand with your brother. That's what I love about you! You have started asking many questions about salvation and I'm pretty sure this will be the year that it happens. As you embark on year 6 of your life, I just want you to know that I love you more than life and to always remember what I've told you, "In everything you do, let people see Jesus in you."

Love, Mommy

Rylee's Birthday Party

Rylee decided for her 6th Birthday she didn't want to have a "big" birthday party but instead choose 2 friends to go to Build A Bear. So Rylee, Davis, and Alex picked out an animal, picked out a sound, kissed it's heart, made a wish, brushed it, chose an outfit, named it and headed home for cake. When we got home we greeted our family with cake and opened presents. What a wonderful and relaxing night had by all! Happy Birthday Ry!

It's Basketball Time...

We decided to put Tucker in Upward again this year due to the fact of less traveling. We seem to travel so much during baseball with his traveling team that we thought it would be very beneficial to play close to home this year so that's just what we did. Tucker has played 2 games and is off to a GREAT start. The first game he had 20 points and 16 points his 2nd game. He is such an athlete and I love watching him play!

Building Week 17/ 18

Well, two more weeks have passed. We now have electricity and heat! The trim and cabinets have been installed and I must say Jeremy did a great job on our kitchen design. I love my kitchen and I can't wait to cook our first meal in it :)! The house is coming together well just Sloooow! We are looking at end of February for move in date.
