Rylee Kate turns 12

Rylee,
Where do I begin? How in the world can you be 12 years old? You have changed so much over the past twelve years and I’m so thankful I’ve got to be a part of it. You started out as 6lb 1oz strawberry blonde hair baby who could fit easily in a shoe box. Your toddler years you were the cutest and spunkiest little blonde hair girl who was all about your baby dolls. Your early elementary years you couldn’t decide what you liked. You tried gymnastics, ballet, cheerleading, softball and basketball, but nothing suited your personality. Then a little later you decided to begin your acting career, starring as The Christmas Tree Angel and began singing at school and church specials. You have now reach your adolescent years and have turned into an absolutely beautiful girl inside and out. You love the beach and camping but, have fell in love with basketball and have excelled academically as well. You are one of my best friends and I love watching you grow and change daily. I pray you continue to be a selfless, determined, and God fearing young lady and you will go far! I love you so much and hope you have the happiest of birthdays!

I really did it!

I can't believe I am saying this because I never dreamed I would do this.  I got a tattoo this last week! Ty means the world to me and I have tried to be there for him throughout his battle and this was just another token to show how important he is to me and that he will always be with me!

Welcome 2019!

I can't believe another year has came and gone.  2018 has been a challenging year and full of change.  As a family we left our church we called home, RK started a new school. She has excelled academically, but struggles to fit in sometimes.  Tucker has also excelled academically and has the best group of friends, but basketball has been a very trying time.  I had tried to get on in same district as the kids and Jeremy so we would be on the same schedule but it didn't work so I had to realize that I am right where God wants me at this time.  Jeremy is still adjusting to teaching but is doing well.  We have also had to continue to watch Ty continue his battle with cancer. It is so hard to see someone you love fight so hard and still not get the news he hoped for.  So for 2019 I pray that we has a family learn to love, laugh and spend more time with each other.
