Rylee Kate's 5th Birthday Party = FUN

Rylee Kate celebrated her 5th birthday with her family and close friends from school. Her party was at Sweetwater Gymnastics and she had a blast! She received money, gift cards, gymnastic outfits, tu-tu, and many other things, but her favorite part of the day was spent eating her gymnastics cake.

Happy Birthday Rylee Kate!

Birthday Morning- It was a dark and rainy morning, but we had to take a picture by the Happy Birthday balloon.

Rylee Kate,
Wow! You are five years old. Where in the world has time gone? I remember like it was yesterday bringing you home from the hospital and how happy I was that our family was all back together. Oh how I remember your first steps, your first words, first doctors visit, and all your other firsts. Now as I look back over the past year I remember all your "new" firsts that I got to experience right along with you. I will always remember your first broken bone (arm), your first baseball game, your first basketball game, how well you did in gymnastics and got to move up to an older class, and last but not least your very first day of pre-k. I cherish every day, every hour, and every minute I spend with you because you are growing up so quickly. I love you so much, Rylee Kate and hope you have a wonderful gymnastics birthday party, but more importantly a BLESSED upcoming year as a big 5 year old.

Love,
Mom

Dear Rylee Kate,
I can't believe how fast time goes by. It seems like only yesterday that we were waiting for you to arrive in this world. Now you are five years old and going on twenty! I want you to know that I thank God everyday that He gave you to me to enjoy. I love your personality and how you are so strong headed. I know that God has special plans for you and I can't wait to see what it is. My prayer for you is that you will accept God as your personal Lord and Savior and that you will become a strong Christian young lady. I hope that you have a great birthday party and I want you to always remember: "Someday you may find your prince charming, but I will always be your prince".

I love you,Daddy

Goodnight Prayers

Rylee's goodnight prayers were so sweet and genuine tonight. She said, "Dear Jesus, Thank you for my family and your family. I pray you will be with all the people that are lost that they will find their way home. I pray for the people that don't know you that I can tell them about you and how good you are and how strong you are and how big you are. I will tell them you are bigger than a giant and stronger than anyone or anything. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and help me to do what is right. Put the full armour of God on me and my family and help me stand against the devil when he tries to trick me. Help me to have a good night's sleep and sweet, sweet dreams. In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen!"

As Rylee's Mommy I am so proud to know that she does realize just how good, big, and strong our God is! I pray she continues to want to tell others about her Jesus!

Basketball Season Has Begun

This is quite a challenging year for basketball. Rylee is playing Upward at Blairland and I am coaching Tucker's team in Lenoir City. It is hard juggling 2 games on Saturday mornings, but thankfully the grandparents are willing to switch week about so I can coach. So far I am enjoying coaching this group of boys and I can't wait to watch them continue to improve throughout the season. All I can say is I am a Raptor fan at 9 and a Redskin fan/ coach at 10 every Saturday morning for the next 10 weeks!!! I must admit I am loving every minute of it!!!
