Sorry!

I am sorry our life has been so boring that I have no updates. Other than Tucker starting pre-k a couple of weeks ago, nothing else has been going on. However, that is quickly going to change this next week. Mine and Jeremy's graduate classes resume tomorrow. We only like 1 more semester after this. Please say a prayer for us. It is not easy being a parent, working full time, active in church and going back to school full time. It is very stressful and I pray that God will grant us both the time and energy to be successful. We should graduate with our EDS degree in May!
We also have a camping trip coming up over the long weekend. YEAH! We can't wait!

Tucker's first day of Pre-K

Weird to say the least. That is just the word that sums up my morning. For some reason I guess I thought he would never grow up and go to school. However, this morning it hit me in the face. To load my little boy up in the car with me, with his backpack on his back and lunch box in hand was quite a site. Our conversation we shared on the way to school and holding his hand walking in to the school building. WHEW, it was hard!
I am so glad that he is healthy and smart and has the opportunity to go to preschool, but I am even more thankful he is at my school with me. He has the most wonderful teacher ever and I am so excited about his first year at Loudon Elementary!

Tucker on his first day of school!
He put his backpack and lunch box in his cubby and ran right to his square on the carpet, "the T." His dad and I both were so happy to see him happy before we left him. I can honestly say I did get teary eyed. I wonder if his daddy held up walking back across the field to his school???
Ready for his day to begin. I took this picture after his daddy told him bye and he yelled, "Love Ya Daddy!"

Tucker's Pre-K Home Visit

Tucker's future Pre-K teachers visiting our home. Of course we know all of them well and feel very blessed that Tucker will have these wonderful ladies to spend his first year of school with.

A Proud Mommy!

My grandfather, Doc, bought Tucker an ABC devotional book for his birthday. We spend 2 nights on each letter and the bible verse and story that goes with it. Last week we were on "F" and they used John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." As I read it with the kids I realized that is the first bible verse I learned as a child and I felt Tucker was ready to learn it for himself. We have continued our book but spend a few extra minutes each night practicing this verse. Last night, he had all but one word. He was so proud of himself that he had to call Doosie and Gramps and say it to them. Of course Rylee has it almost memorized too. Tonight after out devotion and practicing the verse, he felt really good about himself. SO good that he had to call several people to share it with them. Thanks, Megan, Grammy, Nana, Preacher Bud and Connie for listening to him. He was really proud of himself and so was Ry!!!
