More News!!!

Jeremy found out this past week that he will no longer be at Fort Loudoun as assistant principal. We have prayed for a while that God would put Jeremy right where he needed to be and as of last Thursday that place will be Steekee Elementary. It is a big blessing no doubt, but definitely a challenge that I think he is ready to face. I have already started praying for Jeremy to have wisdom and understanding for this new endeavor and that he will always seek God for guidance in leading this school to make it what it needs to be. I will keep you updated as we make decisions about the kids, as we want them where God can use them to His glory.

Mommy's Day

Well another Mother's Day has came and went. It was a rainy day so I didn't get any pictures, but we had a good day. We went to church, Bass Pro Shop with Grammie, and then to Doosie's to visit her. I enjoyed my day just being with people I love. I can honestly say this was the most memorable Mother's Day I have had in a while(see picture at bottom).
I have several MOMS in my life that I look up to and love with all my heart:

Nana Becky, I love you so much and I am so thankful for everything you do for me and my family. My kids are so fortunate to have another grandmother in their life.

Debbie, You gave me one of the most precious gifts ever, Jeremy. He is such an amazing Daddy and husband. You have always been more like a Mom to me than a mother in law and for that I am thankful.

Nannie Russell,
You are my shining star! I tell everyone about my Nannie and what she means to me. I know I don't get to spend as much time with you as I would like, but the time I do is definitely treasured time that I will never forget.

Nannie John,
You were one of the most amazing women I know. Even though you are no longer with me I still love you and long to be the Mom and grandmother you were.

Mom,
Where do I start? You are the best Mom in the world and I truly mean that. I would not be where or who I am today if it weren't for you. I seen another post today and it summed it all up. "I am so thankful that I have a praying Mom." I love you bunches!!!
Two reasons I love being a Mommy
Yes! I woke up this morning and looked out the front door and seen this. The kids got me a rooster for Mother's Day. Of course they had some help from Preacher Bud. Needless to say "Ralph" went back home until we can build a cage for him, which I hope is no where in the near future. I told you it was a memorable Mother's Day for me!!!!

Field Day 2012

Tucker had his field day this past Friday. I can't believe how quick he is growing up and I wish I could just freeze time for a bit but I know I can't. Today, was another first for him and he was scared to death. He was chosen by his teacher to run the 25yd. dash for his class. As most of you know Tucker is so afraid to mess up and always worried he will let us down. He begged me not to make him go to field day, but I ensured him that we didn't care if he won or lost as long as he did his best. Well, that he just did! As you can tell he was popping his knuckles and scared to death, but he placed 2nd and we were so happy for him. He is the funnest little boy in the world!!!

I wish I could have got one of her yelling for her brother. It was too cute!
                                         Two of his biggest fans!

Tucker's Pre- Birthday Party

We decided to have a joint birthday party with Ellie this year so we had a pre- birthday party for just a few close friends. They enjoyed an afternoon of pizza, cookies, water gun fight, water balloon toss/ fight, and slip n slide. Tucker sure is blessed with great friends!

Tucker's Day

Tucker,
What can I say other than these past 7 years have been the best of my life. As I look back at everything you have accomplished this past year, there is one thing that stands out more than anything, and that is the Tuesday in June of 2011 that you accepted Jesus into your heart. I want you to know that there is NOTHING that can ever take your salvation away and nothing you do in your life is as important as this decision you made. One day you will realize how blessed you were to have such a Godly family and dedicated Sunday School and VBS teachers that taught you about Jesus at an early age. Tucker, you have brought so much joy , laughter, and fun into my life and I wouldn’t trade these past 7 years for anything. Even though you say that you love Gramps more than anyone, I want you to know that I love you with all I am and I am very glad that God chose me to be your Mommy.
7 years ago at this exact time my life was changed forever

Dinner for 4

Here you go! On a warm Thursday afternoon I came home from school to find the table set and an excited little girl. She informed me that we were having a special dinner tonight, just the four of us. I was also told that she would pick out everyone's attire and dinner would be Pizza Hut. So as any Mom would do I ordered the pizza, got dressed(Rylee picked it all out), got the boys ready(Rylee picked their outfits out too), and left to get the pizza. As I was on my way home from Pizza Hut I received a call from my realtor that she wanted to show the house in 15 minutes. I immediately called Jeremy and told him to make a clean sweep and meet me outside. Needless to say I had one upset little girl. After, I explained to her we would come right back and continue after the house was shown, she settled down and agreed. It ended up being a wonderful night eating, talking, and dancing with my little boy.

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter to say the least. We enjoyed coloring eggs, multiple egg hunts, and of course our annual egg fight!!! The Easter Bunny even left the kids a few gifts. Rylee got 5 new pairs of flip flops and Tucker got a new Nike baseball bag and of course they both got lots of candy!!!
