First weekend of Fall Baseball 15u

Tucker has joined a new team for 15u baseball. Hopefully this team will carry us through his high school years and he will learn a lot and be successful.  We didn't have a great showing this weekend, but they are all still getting to know each other and new positions. Speaking of positions, Tucker has been asked to play some outfield.  Since this was a wood bat tourney, he didn't get much action. We went 1-2 for the weekend and had some good laughs and got to play baseball!!!

Last Hoorah of Summer 2020

We had a great last hoorah of Summer 2020.  Rylee spent sometime on the lake tubing, jumping off cliffs and docks. Tucker and Kai did some swimming, had a tea party, and learned to cook a little.  We received some terrible news late Saturday night that kind of threw our weekend off a little. Randy, Christi, and Ellie were involved in a boating accident. Randy passed away at the scene while Christi is fighting for her life. Ellis is banged up a little, but doing ok considering.  My heart is breaking for my entire family.  I am so thankful my family is grounded in a strong faith and God has surely filled them with his grace and presence during this time.

Monday we went ahead with plans and celebrated Labor Day. We stayed in the pool all day and enjoyed some good food and homemade ice cream to end our night.

And so it begins...

Our looooong Spring Break has finally came to an end and we are back at school well sort of.  Tucker and Rylee are both doing virtual, so they are working from home.  Jeremy and I are in full swing trying to juggle school, football, kids sports, etc.  I am enjoying a couple afternoons a week having some time to just do some yard work, pick apples, and hang out.   Below are a few pictures of what's been going on with us..
