District Tourney Time

Tucker begins district tournament play this week.  They go in as a #1 seed, but we all know it is hard to beat teams three times.  I pray for confidence, strength, health, and positive attitudes for this weeks games. Go Wildcats! #2
Rylee Kate's team enters the district tournament as a #4 seed.  I pray this team pulls it together and has a great week of basketball.  I pray they are confident and full of encouragement to carry over to their teammates.  Go Lady Cats! #12

And then there were two.... teenagers

Ry,
I can’t believe I am even writing to wish you a Happy 13th birthday. It truly seems like yesterday you entered this world. You are exactly what I wanted in a daughter. You are ambitious, kind hearted, giving, fun, athletic, and so much more. This year has been full of new things. Things like new friends, new adventures, a real boyfriend, and a challenging role on the basketball team. With each and everyone of those new things, you faced them with confidence, excitement, and determination. Rylee, I love you so much and I’m so proud of the young lady you are becoming. I pray you continue to work hard in school and basketball, you always treat others the way you want to be treated, and look to God for direction. I love you BIG sweet girl!

                                                                            Love,
                                                                           Mom

January Basketball- 8th Grade Night/ HOCO

I can't believe Tucker's time as an SJHS Wildcat is nearing the end.  Basketball hasn't always been easy.  He's wanted to give up and quit, but he has made it through.  He has made many friends and for that I am thankful.  All three seasons I would consider successful seasons not only because they have all been winning seasons, but because Tucker has grown as a player and young man. Many thanks to the coaches for all their sacrifices to ensure they were successful.

Tucker's team has finished the regular season with a record of 19-1.  This has been such a fun team to watch.  They all need each other to win.  If a teammate is off one night another one is there to pick them up.  To say I have enjoyed this season would be an understatement.  I just can't believe it's almost over.
