The day after Christmas...

The Day after...

Tucker's new tepee

I opened it up and this is what I found... One sleepy boy

After he woke up he was ready to build

Look what Santa left...

Santa left a letter, empty plate, an almost empty glass of Sunny D, wrapping paper (Tucker left Santa a gift), and lots of TOYS!!! Some of their favorites were:
Tucker: Indian costume, tepee, scooter, IPOD, Tennessee lounging pants, police car
Rylee Kate: Pocahontas costume, Fancy Nancy doll, scooter, cash register, Olivia dollhouse

Santa's empty plate- well a few crumbs

He finally got what he wanted and IPOD- Tucker did not tell Santa he wanted this until 2 nights before Christmas so he sent a special message through Elvsie and asked him to give it to Santa. Whew! Santa must have got the message just in time!!!

The Boys

Usually the grand kids spend the night, however we all got snowed in. We had a great time staying up all night singing, dancing, and playing Mario on the Wii! We had a good breakfast and enjoyed our time together. Thanks Papaw & Grammie!!!

Christmas with Grandmommy

We spent a couple of hours Christmas Day with Jeremy's Mamaw at the nursing home. We had a fun time visiting with her and tried to get her to go to his parents with us and celebrate, but she wouldn't.

He is definitely her Baby and she lets everyone know it

We spend the night at my parents house on Christmas Eve night and get up and open presents and eat breakfast together before heading home to see what Santa left. We had a wonderful time, but wish we could have spent a little more time together. Thanks Mom and Dad for everything! Some of the kids favorite gifts from Doo and Gramps were:
Rylee Kate- fancy baby stroller, Fancy Nancy backpack, and table and chairs
Tucker- pirate ship, boys doodle book and a real zip line

My brother Jay- he has started hiking so mom and dad got him a backpack

GO!
This is an annual tradition that my brother has finally passed down to Tucker. We gather up all the wrapping paper and while holding a football make a diving run into the pile. Our pile was a little small this year because Nannie kept cleaning up before we were finished!!!

Christmas with the McNabb's

We have always went to my grandparents house on Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. I have so many fond memories of our Christmases there. Since my grandmothers passing over 11 years ago some of our traditions have changed, some have stayed the same, and some are all new. We use to read the Christmas story, but now it is a little too emotional for us all. We still eat, but not our traditional Christmas meal. We still sing a few Christmas songs, but not as many as we use to. We still open presents, but now they don't make the kids wait as long as we had to. However, some things never change.... We still have the paper fight after all the presents are opened up! I am so thankful for all the memories my grandparents have made with us.
