Basketball Banquet in the books

     RK had her basketball banquet last night at Steekee. What a great night it was! RK led the prayer and was voted Best Defensive Player by her teammates . I am so proud of this girl.

AAU has begun

   RK has joined the Lady Rage for a season of AAU basketball.  She is very excited and so are we. We are expecting her to learn lots and get better at the game she loves. This weekend we played at Midway and finished runner up after only 4 practices.

  Weekend #2 was definitely a more challenging weekend. We lost our first game and should have never lost it. Then we played "The Lady Vols" the second game and got beat pretty good but seen some good things and we won our final game by a pretty good margin.  It was a very looong day in the gym (12 hours) to say the least.  However, it was well worth it to see my girl play the game she loves and play with such heart and determination. I think the pictures will be the proof to her love and heart...

  Another weekend at the gym. We played in a tournament in Rockwood this weekend.  We finished 2nd but still not where we want to be.

A Little More...

    Well, we finally finished basketball season for Tucker.  His JV team ended their season 17-1 and the champions of the end of the year jv tourney.  Tucker has learned so much and made so many friends this season and we couldn't be happier.
