Mardi Gras 2014 New Orleans Style

We spent a long weekend in New Orleans celebrating Mardi Gras with Marci, Paul, and Cooper. We had an amazing trip and some good quality time with our family.

Snow, Snow, and More SNOW

A few inches of snow equals several days out of school!! Woo hoo! This was our first year being in the country with a good amount of snow fall and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Another chapter came to a close....

Smoke Baseball was cut short this year due to other kids and obligations. We had a couple good months, met a lot of nice people, and enjoyed watching Tucker play the sport he loves! Tucker played 2nd base this season and did very well.

Smoke Baseball played their last weekend together this past weekend and they went out in style. The went 1-1 on Saturday and 3-0 on Sunday to win the championship. This is a great group of boys and parents. What a wonderful experience it has been for Tucker!

A Day in the Blind

We spent part of Thanksgiving in the middle of a field in a deer blind. Tucker loved it!!!!

Sad day for our family...

Roscoe went to doggie heaven in December. We miss him like crazy!

Rylee and her new experience

Wow! Soccer season was such a fun time for Rylee! We love seeing her compete and she became quite the soccer player. She scored several goals and wasn't scared of anyone (not even the boys). Hopefully she has found a sport she loves!

It's time for Throwin Smoke Baseball

Baseball is under way! Tucker has worked hard this off season and has earned a starting spot in the infield and batting close to the top of the line-up. I am super proud of how he is playing, but even more proud of his work ethic!
