Disney World Day 2

Day 2 began at Hollywood Studios. We began by eating breakfast with The Little Einsteins and Jo Jo and Goliath. It was an awesome breakfast and Tucker LOVED singing and dancing with the characters. Rylee on the other hand, loved the characters but did not want them touching her. After breakfast we set out to find the Power Rangers. Of course we had Tucker's picture made with the red one (his favorite). As most of you know Tucker loves Narnia! We met up with Prince Caspian for some pictures and small talk. Tucker was thrilled to have met the "real Prince Caspian". Tucker asked him, "Where is Peter?" We also sat front row at the Playhouse Disney Live On Stage and Rylee danced her heart out! We then headed over to Magic Kingdom. Hopefully, I can figure out how to load video and everyone can see the look on Tucker's face when he saw "the castle" for the first time. It was PRICELESS!!! We immediately met up with Pinnochio and then headed over to ride "It's A Small World." Rylee napped during this ride. By 6pm the kids were wiped out and ready to head back to the resort to swim. The resort had several pools and splash pads. We spent the evening chilling at the splash pad. I will post more pics of the resort later. I hope you enjoy the photos from Day 2.

Disney World Day 1

We arrive at the Atlanta Airport at 8:45 AM and our plane is scheduled to leave at 10:55. We checked in and headed to get breakfast. We find a biscuit, sit down and enjoy our meal and watch the airplanes take off. I noticed as the boarding time came nearer that there was no airplane at our gate. They finally came on and said, "The airplane that is going to Orlando has not landed yet, we will board as soon as it arrives." We finally board and take off at 11:55. Yes, we arrived at Disney World an hour behind schedule! We met up with the Richesin's and Smither's for an evening of fun. Jeremy and I actually rode a few adult rides since we had extra babysitters. Here is a few pictures from our first day.

Fall Camping Trip

We spent the first part of our fall break camping in the mountains. We had a fun time shopping, hiking, sitting by the camp fire, and eating. We had a wonderful time and can't wait until next spring to go back! While we were hiking, we even got to see a bear... UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!!!

"Rylee needs medicine"

On our way home from getting haircuts Wednesday afternoon, Tucker said, "Mom, Rylee needs medicine." I said why Tucker. He said, "She doesn't talk right. She doesn't talk like me." I said, "Tucker." He said, "Well mom, I am not kidding!"

Doo's Birthday

My mom a.k.a. Doo celebrated her birthday this past Wednesday. We did not do anything as a family for her because we are going camping this weekend and I have been SO busy packing for Disney World. However, I did let the kids make her a cake, decorate the dining room, and Tucker picked her out some flowers. Tucker is planning on bringing her back a present from Disney World. Look out Doo, you may be getting a Power Ranger costume. I only got a picture of her cake and Rylee eating it with her fingers. Tucker was still in bed when I left for school.
Mom~
I hope you had the best birthday yet! Jeremy and I want to say "thanks" for all you do for us, but most importantly our 2 kids. They think the world of their "Doo" and so do we. We love you and we hope you enjoy having next week off. Love Ya!

Story Time

Tucker and Rylee are enjoying story time with my aunt Sharon. This picture means a lot to my aunt because she is getting to hold Rylee. You see she stops by my house often and Rylee NEVER has anything to do with her. As a matter of fact Rylee use to cry everytime Sharon held her. Sharon was so excited she not only got to hold her but read a book to her. "Thanks Aunt Sharon for story time." Rylee even gave her love when she left.
