Weekend Getaway

We headed to the mountains on Friday and had originally planned on coming home Monday morning, however, Tucker talked Gramps into staying an extra night and we are so glad we did. We spent the entire Monday playing in the creek with the kids. We built dams, splashed, caught tadpoles, and even went to a "special place" . We had a wonderful looooong weekend with Sas, Connie, Kevin, Megan & Will.

We finally had our hedges removed. Thanks to Paul for his generous work. We truly appreciate it! We were hoping we would dig up some real treasures, but all we got was a golf ball and an old coke bottle.

2011 Field Day

Tucker's Field Day :
He had fun participating and couldn't wait to go home with Gramps afterwards and spend the day. However, when he got to Gramps house. He wanted to rest and Dad called me shortly after and said he had a fever. I went straight to get him when school was out. Thankfully, he only had a fever and no other symptoms, however, the fever lasted 5 days. Even though his day didn't go quite as planned, he still had a good day.
