50% Tiger

We just found out last night that Tucker's t-ball team will be named the "Tigers". We would all be ok with that if only they had different team colors. Before I tell the colors, I must tell you this kid has been brainwashed that the "Redskins" are the only way to go. Tucker is really into dressing himself and his typical, everyday outfit includes, a red shirt(jersey), red shorts, red socks "Redskin socks", and red shocks. He also has to sit in a red chair and drink red powerade, as he says, "for the Redskins." Tucker was already convinced he would either be on the Redskin team or the Cubs. After talking to the coach last night and having to break the news to him that he will be playing for the Tigers and his team color will be orange and black. He was not happy and did not understand why he could not be playing for the Redskins or the Cubs. As most of you know that is Lenoir City's colors, (the biggest rival for me and Jeremy as players and coaches for LHS). Tucker was so devastated. We are really trying to build it up that he is now a Tiger, but I am not so sure how it will go over after he gets his orange and black jersey! His first practice will be April 13th. I can't wait to post pictures!

Ha! At least they weren't the Panthers, I'm sure that would have pushed him over the edge. We were going to sign Evan up, but you have to be four here. We should have checked in LC.

Well, here as long as you turn 4 by the time the season ends you are good to go so we were fortunate! He will not be real happy to find out he HAS to use a tee and no one can pitch to him.

Tell him he's an Auburn Tiger. That might cheer him up ;)
